The decrease in tax payments is primarily attributable to net payments to the amount of
R1 172 million included in FY2021 in respect of prior years and the final settlement of the fully
provided for prior period disputes with SARS, including the FY2012 dispute previously reported
on relating to the loss on the disposal of a foreign subsidiary. |
